“ I don’t usually write reviews but today I felt I had to. Having been to the one at the fort recently and we kind of felt like we were forgotten about. Despite the fort being the closest to us when my other half suggested we went to the Harvester for his birthday meal I said we will give The Arden Oak a go as I’ve previously been and never had any issues. We try to stick to chains as it can be hard to find good Vegan options sometimes unless they are dedicated. Rocked up today and the manager was straight away greeting us with a welcoming smile and a friendly laugh. Sat down and our server was Jo. My dad unfortunately had a slight problem with his shandy but to be fair if a server knows the lemonade postmix has gone by the sheer look of it then I want to know their wizardry. It wasn’t a problem straight away was resolved without a fuss and again Jo was albeit very modest about when my dad agreed it was better that of course it was because they had made it ;). But it set the tone for a very good night. The food was delicious and served quickly and most importantly hot. The vegan options as mentioned above are really good as sometimes my other half feels like all he tends to be able to order is a burger (which incidentally he had today) but he likes being able to have a choice at least. Nothing was too much trouble for Jo and they made us all feel so welcomed and we had a really good laugh. They were attentive without it feeling like we were being rushed or forgotten about which is absolutely key when you have a mediumish sized party. Thank you so much to the team it was lovely night. The staff were amazing and wished my other half a Happy Birthday as they walked passed into the kitchen. ”

“ This is one of the best Harvester's I've visited. It's clean, the staff are lovely and the food is fantastic. There's two areas - an area which I believe is exclusive to diners and the other section which does still have tables but is also like a pub/bar area. It can get a bit noisy on that side but to be fair it didn't put us off. There's always some good deals on as well (Download the app it's great!). It's walkable for me as I live on the same road but I know it has a good size parking area. Looking forward to visiting again! ”
“ Grace was lovely and informative. They were very thorough with our food allergens. The food was lovely. We weren’t keen on the cheese and jalapeno doughnuts but that’s personal preference. The food was lovely which was prepared by Ilya and Ben but it took a while due to the rotisserie chickens, however, we were made aware of this prior to being seating, so we were expecting it. ”
“ Grace is always pleasant and friendly and makes sure everything is okay with your meals and drinks. She is always busy but still has time for a chat while taking your order or paying the bill. Food was excellent had the original combo and it was cooked perfectly ”

Last minute we called to see if they had any availability and if they had what we wanted to eat and Grace was amazing and helped us get it sorted and us get our meal. The whole experience was great. Service was amazing (food on our table 10 minutes after walking in) and tasted amazing. ”
